Wednesday League
COED Ultimate Hat League (ideal for Beginners)
The Durham Ultimate Club will continue its Wednesday night (outdoor) COED ultimate league this Summer. This is the fourth year this league has run and it is ideal for all skill levels. It is called a “hat” league because all the players sign up and then the teams are made to try and even out the skill level. It is like throwing everyone’s name into a hat and then picking the teams. Teams must play with 4 males and 3 females on at all times. Games will be played in Oshawa and Whitby and will start at 7 pm in May, June and July and then 6:30 pm in August. The cost to play in this league is $39.55, and this must be paid online when you register so please have your credit card ready.
Membership Required:
Please be aware that to play in any division you will need a membership. There is a link on the right side of the homepage under registration to purchase your membership. There is a membership for players that are 18 and under($16.95) and one for adults ($33.90) so please select the correct one. You will not be able to be added to a team until you have a membership. The membership is a once a year purchase and allows you to play in summer, fall and indoor leagues. During the process of purchasing the membership you will also have to to read and electronically sign a waiver. Please only buy this membership once a year. After you have purchased it and you log into the DUC site it may still say you need to buy a membership until you are added to a team so please don't purchase it twice.
Signing up as an Individual
This league is very social and a great way to meet new people. Whether you are new to the sport or a veteran you will be impressed with the spirit of all those involved. Teams will often go out to socialize and eat after a game.
Signing up as a Couple
COED Ultimate is the perfect sport for couples with small children that want to stay active. Since substitutions are made after each point one parent can play while the other watches the kids on the sideline and then they can switch for the next point. There are often other families on the team as well and the children end up playing together. When you sign up, link yourself by your last name.
Signing up as a small group
If you and a bunch of friends want to sign up this is no problem just link yourself to a specific name or code word and we will make sure you are on the same team. In general there will only be groups of up to 4 people, however, in some cases larger groups may be allowed.

Registration
Registration ends when we fill up or May 15th. If we cannot place you on a team then your money will be refunded in full. Please have your credit card ready when you begin the registration as you will have to pay the $39.55 right now.
