Hey everyone,

First of all, what a fantastic new site you've got here. Really nice layout.

Seondly, our team is going to begin practicing (I know, crazy idea) and we've got a few ideas about things that we'd like to cover but I was wondering if anyone out there knows of any links/sites that deal with drills to work on in practice to improve, well, just about everything as well as some general strategy guides.

Any input would be most welcome.

Cheers,

Mike

Mike, Ultimate Handbook is a great site for practice drills and strategy using the stack and end-zone plays:
http://www.ultimatehandbook.com/uh/

This is another good one I use - great drills for learning the Stack:
http://www.afda.com/showcontent.php?page=skills_articles

Good catching drills:
http://www.menalto.com/ultimate/play_list.php

Good throwing drills:
http://www2.upa.org/ultimate/skills-drills/grips/grips.shtml

Hope that helps!

Sorry, I had to write this again cause I don't like having "GUEST" beside my name.

Mike....when does your team practice???

I am part of The Drugstore Cowboys.
We usually practice Tues or Thurs. Usually getting about 8-12 out.
I know most of our team is learning the game, but if you would like to get
a scrimmage going or combine practices let me know.

Dan,

Thanks very much for the links, they're really fantastic.

I believe I actually found this website a couple of years back but couldn't track it down this year.

Much appreciated.

Cheers,

Mike

Lank,

I've been trying to hook something up on Thursdays but so far we've had a bit of a lack of communication. I'll happily check in with the team and see how many of them would be interested in combining practices.

Where do you practice at? I've been having a bit of a time finding an open field to accomodate our needs.

Hope to chat with you soon.

Cheers,

Mike

I checked with the team and there was enough interest that I think we could probably work something out on a regular basis. Even if we can't get a large groupe, it sounds as though we could get a good core of peopleto show up from our team. Let me know what kind of schedule you have in mind.

Cheers,

Mike
