1. Well we had a unique (at least for us) finish to our game yesterday. It was a very fun and very hard fought battle with the young guns of IFT. As it was close all the way and a 7-7 tie with less than 5 min remaining, once IFT scored we had to end the game with time on the clock. Fair enough under the new structure. But it raises the question of whether there maybe shouldn't be a half at all if there are less than 5? 10? min left?? I would love to hear thoughts on this.
2. And I personally prefer the 40 min halves rather than playing to 8 especially if it's hot out or if teams are short or it's windy (making for longer points).. and have heard others say the same. Case in point yesterday we had no break. I do realise some peeps prefer it to having a rest. Consideration to discuss for next year. Any thoughts on this?
