Thanks for the fun game on Sunday guys ... Lots of action ... You are definitely the team to beat!
Some members of our team are just wondering why we got a spirit score of 3, we can't seem to recall much that could be considered unspirited.
Somebody suggested that at one point one of our players picked up the disc to hand to one of your players and we were called unspirited on that.
If you let us know I am sure we won't let it happen again
Cheers!

| It was a good game this week with lots of action in it. Almost like the Canada vs USA game later that afternoon... okay maybe not that much... lol |

Thanks, Marc. I just saw that as well.
I also can`t remember anything happening let alone that substantial. I am sure a detailed message will follow.
Thanks. |

I spoke to the captain and he has explained the situation to me. Briefly, it was a minor exchange of words between himself and one of our players after one of our players delayed giving him the disc during play. our player used an inappropriate word. I don't want to go into too much details as I have only heard second hand information.
Overall the game was very spirited and a lot of fun. I look forward to making it a little closer next time. I am currently working on a special play called "stop Lindsay from scoring". |

Hi all,
it was a great game and great spirit overall. As mentioned, there was an incident that occurred that resulted in the lower spirit score. We're leaving it to our captains to resolve.

Thanks Kevin! Lindsay definitely had an amazing game, and we're expecting even more from her in the future. After her great game, we started working on our own special project called "clone more Lindsays". Eventually, Lindsay and her clones will replace all of us on the field, we'll just sit back and cheer her on.
Alex
PS Anyone know how to clone a human? Call me! |

| I accidently booked an airline ticket to Barbados for April 17th under the name Lindsay. Anyone want it? |

| Lank, it was nothing you said. |

Lank, it was me that said something, I had to, I can't hold my tongue to the bs that is being fed to me anymore. I apologize to my team for losing spirit points and that is all. I quit soccer to get away from all the drama and politics of the game. It wasn't fun anymore. I switched over to ultimate because it didn't matter if we won or lost, I had a great time running around and playing with all my friends.
I have a great time playing against every team in the league whether we win or lose, except the duc unters. Even when we did beat them, I had such a terrible time and wished I didn't show up. I always give them the benefit of the doubt and tell myself "maybe it will just be a good ol' fashion game", but no matter what, even with the "b" team, we ended up fighting and arguing over practically nothing. I hate it. I've even tried talking to players on their team before games to try and resolve things, but still no luck.
I hope there is a way to fix this, considering there are only 6 teams in the "A" division, making us play almost once a month. As of right now I am going to ask my team if they would rather forfeit the games we play each other and we'll just throw a fun practice instead at another field. There is no reason for me to get worked up and stressed out over something that I joined to relax and have fun.
There is no need to shed tears and reply on here all the thoughts you have to say to me, I'm not taking shots at anyone, i'm just letting you know how it is and how I want it to be. This is a last effort on my part on how I feel and would just like everyone to get along in order to have a great summer.
Feel free to email me @ Sa ... @hotmail.com if you are willing to come to some agreement or way to fix this,
I'm going to wipe the slate clean, I hope you will be able to as well!

I mean absolutely no offence to anyone...but is this really necessary? I really don't see the point of airing all this dirty laundry...months after most of it has taken place...in writing for the world to see. All it does is embarrass people. Generalizations is one thing, but naming a person and then citing specific examples of things they've done or said that you dislike or don't approve of seems just as bad as whatever that person said or did in the first place. I don't see how this can be in any way productive or helpful.

Hahahahaha!
I still think that's hilarious. Our whole team is sarcastic and anyone of my friends that I sent that to would laugh histarically. Don't be so uptight and have a sense of humour. No more. Send me an email or give me your email address, I would love to discuss anything with you. |
