As there is now a trophy being awarded for the indoor season, I assume its going to be awarded to the team with the most points at the end of the season?
What happens if two teams are tied in points at the end of the season? In summer league play, it has been settled by playing another game. Is there a playoff day available?
Everyone seems very spirited so far in indoor play, with 5 out of 5 spirit points being awarded every game, so I don't think that spirit points should be the determining factor.
Kevin's already said that points for and against are not to be used... |

It is settled over an intense best of 3 round of miniature tanks. |

| If necessary, the two teams involved will play each other during the last game of the indoor season. The teams they were supposed to play will then play each other. |

Err... that doesn't work. You won't know which two teams are involved until AFTER the last game of the season. Also, this doesn't take into account for three way ties (or more). |

It may not work in general - but given the standings thus far - I think it is safe to say there will be no more than 2 teams fighting for first this session.
This is just to determine a trophy winner if need be.

You are right, probably no more than two teams fighting for first. In fact, it is likely that Hawaiian will run away with this.
However, the point remains... you can't make a final determination until AFTER the last game.
Example 1: after 13 weeks, if Hawaiians are 12-1 and MacLeod are 11-2. They can both be 12-2 AFTER the last game.
Example 2: after 13 weeks, if Hawaiians are 11-2 and MacLeod are 11-2, do they play each other? (Note that the original matchup would be the same as week #1, where Hawaiians beat their opponent 62-3 and MacLeod won a relatively close game 28-23. I'd say not the most fair decision if they end up playing each other in this final week).
PROBABLY won't happen given the strength of the Hawaiians, but should one of the above happen, we'd end up not having that extra game to determine a winner, or there'd be a lot more (justified) noise than you are seeing in this post.
Just saying... |

| A valid point. Instead we could just let the teams be tied and put two names on the trophy. |

If worst comes to worst then play a game outside with the same field size/rules.
Problem solved. I'm super smart! |
